Vagabond (Japanese: バガボンド, Hepburn: Bagabondo) is a Japanese epic martial arts manga series written and illustrated by Takehiko Inoue. It portrays a fictionalized account of the life of Japanese swordsman Musashi Miyamoto, based on Eiji Yoshikawa's novel Musashi.
Musashi Miyamoto is the titular main protagonist of the 2002 adventure and action manga series, Vagabond by Inoue Takehiko. He is a man who was banished from his village and sets up a goal to reach the status of the most notable known samurai at age seventeen.
