(2017) - s01e22 in one of your Suits episodes, this will cause Plex to recognize the file as an episode of S.W.A.T. Sep 25, 2022 · If you don’t do this, Plex might just think the file was “missing” for a short time, and it might see the file is back and stick the old incorrect information on it. Rename file properly. Place renamed file back into show folder. Scan library, so Plex sees the “new” file. That’s the basics of the Plex Dance.

Plex incorrectly identifying TV episodes
Apr 19, 2015 · I have Season 1 of Teen Titans Go on my Plex server. All episodes are correctly named and foldered according to convention - eg: \TV Shows\Teen Titans Go\Season 1\Teen Titans Go S01E01.mp4. The server only identifies up to E26. After that, they're detected just as the filename. On TheTVDB, all episodes are listed, and my files are named correctly.

According to TVDB: A special is NOT deleted scenes, bloopers, gag reels, etc. from the DVD release of shows. So all my: Behind the Scenes, Interviews, etc. doesn't count.
