2010年8月30日 · Not being a sheet metal guru by any means, I may be going about this all wrong, so I'm hoping someone here can set me straight. I'm trying to create a sheet metal cone with an overlapping seam - I can get close, but I always wind up with something blowing up - either a flat pattern or the loft itself. Seems I can get a loft, but not a flat pattern.

I have just started building in sheet metal and have created a few parts. I now want to do a static force simulation on the part, but have to close the seams with welds to simulate the final part once it is welded.

hello, i'm new to solidworks. i have created a sheet metal part which contains 2 planar surfaces and a circular one. i made a linear pattern to a circle in the flattened state, but when i unflatten the part the pattern is not repsresented in the graphic area. how should i create the linear pattern so that it would be represented in botth of the ...

After bringing in a step model of a sheet metal bracket, I converted it to sheet metal. Everything went fine but the part is transparent now. I can unsupress the flat pattern and the model looks fine. I researched this topic and shut down SW and came back in to no avail. I added material type, tried "rebuild". No change. Any ideas?

2019年7月17日 · Version: 2018 Premium I am working on a multibody sheet metal part and sheet bodies are randomly disappearing from view. If I isolate one of the missing sheets it will appear. Upon "Exit Isolate" it reverts back to the view where most of the sheets are invisible. This makes it nearly impossible to work.
