Hitting ship in different areas could result in quick sinking, explosion, break up, becoming immobile or even persisting with wounds. What ships carried also effected the outcome.

It has quite some detailed cities to spawn ships in, and you don't have to worry about cash because it doesn't affect gameplay at all, and the ships are extremely detailed. -No funky sinking physics! stormworks. Ships 3D on crazy games.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag has some side content that incorporates things like diving, air management, and air pockets. But isn't the focus of the game. Titanic Honor and Glory.

A realistic game would have the water move around the ship, flooding the ship as it goes, instead of the water being static as the ship lowers ...
