Gets down to about 100 fpm, great for steel but will eat a blade pretty quick if you need to cut stainless. At first, I was planing to use the original motor however, it has a 1" shaft and the speed reducer is for a .750" shaft.

2020年6月13日 · The input on the reducer is a female 5/8 and the motor shaft is male 5/8. The two should fit together. The output shaft on the reducer is also 5/8 so the pulley from the motor should fit. The pulley is a quadruple pulley. The SFPM range should be 42 to 112 if I measured the pulleys correctly.

2012年7月20日 · Jan 31, 2015. #3. Cadillac STS, has a good idea there. I just happened to have had a 30:1 right angle gear box and a 2 speed, 3/4 hp motor kicking around that I did mine with. And a put a 4 step pulley on the gear box. For tool steel you need to get down to about 60FPM so you need another 9:1 reduction or so to get down there.
