First, second, and third grade Bible are five-unit courses, and the fourth grade Bible is currently five units, but it will become ten units next year. Most of the rest of all courses at all grade levels are ten units.

2004年11月21日 · As far as math goes, I use Horizons through the third grade, and then switched to Saxon. (When my oldest "made the switch", she was tested in the fifth grade Saxon book!) We may be switching again, because DH is a high school teacher, and the school bought all new math books, so DH was able to bring home the "old" books for higher math.

2010年8月9日 · My oldest tested fine this year - in fact almost 2 grades ahead. My son was tested in his grade (and I had done only 2nd grade math with him last year even though he was in 3rd). and he tested into TT4. Anyway, I love it. My kids love it. I let them work at their own pace, so if they ever surpass their "grade" in it. Bonus.

2006年4月12日 · I use the first grade (LifePac) bible tm all the time. With that one, again, the tm makes the curriculum and the student work is just work and not learning material if that makes sense. I haven't used it much on the third grade level though. I plain FORGET to use them most of the time. I've no system yet. I need a system....

2008年1月12日 · Because she doesn't enjoy reading, I opted to not have a "formal" reading curriculum this year (in hopes of finding books she would "love"). She is doing a Spectrum 3rd grade phonics workbook without trouble (but hates it because she's not a workbook girl). Anyway, I'm working on our "plan" for next school year and wondering what to do with her.
