I followed the set up instructions in the app, connecting the main Deco to the router as instructed via Ethernet and then paired the second and third units too. The default installation settings that the app prompted me with were Dynamic IP (as opposed to PPPoE) and Router mode (as opposed to AP mode).

The solution below states that I just have to click the '+' to add more units but, using the TP-Link Deco app, there is no '+' on the right that I can see. I was able to factory reset one M5 and created a new network and connected it to the internet. However the other 3 M5s won't reset. They pulse a red LED and won't respond to the reset button.
