As the temperature goes up, it loses one molecule of water and becomes a "drying" oil.

2012年11月26日 · Fuel ran so cool we were down 2 heat ranges on the plug even running lean and mean. The bean oil would glaze the honing and make it hard to seat a new ring if it wasn't cleaned up. Ran the pistons so tight we'd run them once, remove them, sand the 4 corners and stick em back in. Only thing keeping from seizing was the bean oil at 20:1.

2008年1月16日 · Yamalube 2R is also one of fav oils, it seems to burn clean and keeps the engine clean. But it just seems thin when you pour it compared to some of the others, so I have gone back to klotz. Real scientific huh. For the gear oil the maxima 80 has been working good for me. I think the manual specs an sae 40.

2007年8月19日 · This thread reminds me of a guy I knew in high school, who ran straight weight castor-bean oil in the crankcase of his brand new Mustang GT!!! I personally thought it was a bad idea, but the engine actually ran fine with it. Every once in while when he tached it up while racing some of the other guys, you could smell a whiff of it in the exhaust.

broncomoto. Posted October 6, 2023. I've been successfully using Yamalube 2-cycle oil since 2015 for my YZ 250 with 93 octane pump gas. The guy I bought my Stihl chainsaw from tells me that I should be using ethanol free gas and a fully synthetic two cycle oil. I'd prefer to have one can of pre-mix for everything but I hate to rock the boat.

2011年11月9日 · It's the LEAST EXPENSIVE "QUALITY" 2s oil I can get my hands on, plus it's made in the USA. I used to use the R50 back when I motocross the bike. 32"1. now I use the Klotz Techniplate blend for off roading. 44:1. This is midway between the popular 40:1 & 50:1 ratios used by my offroading buds. also, u Can't beat that Klotz bean oil smell.

2006年6月15日 · Check out the bigger bike sections, there have been many tests and this is the best bang for the buck and besides bean oil holds up the best of all oils. Most people use it on both sides of their 450's, cars, etc. I use it in all 3 of my bikes and also used it in all of my street bikes. Here is a link in the 450 section.

2024年6月6日 · Here is a top end on my KTM 300 pulled apart when I was getting ready to shave my head. These are some older pictures I came across. This motor had about 75 hours on the top end. Numerous overheating incidents at over 300 degrees. Motul 800 at 32:1. Powervalves were easy to clean albeit the typical KTM drums sticking.
