2020年12月7日 · Burn in is much more noticeable in person than the camera makes it appear. I charge the watch overnight so the display is only on during regular hours. The pictures mostly show the burn in of the lower 3 complications but in person you can clearly make out the layout of the weather complication and especially the activity ring.

Basically used it as a GPS and was on the dashboard and the sun was blasting heat and the phone was hot, and definitely noticed the burn in on the screen. Since it was within the return window, I was able to return it.

Burn-in rates are dependent on the screen and its software, not the device driving it, so what happened to your external display isn’t necessarily applicable to the discussion of burn-in on the iPad, with very different screen technology and anti-burn-in software.

I would imagine they'd be rejecting most trade ins if this were the case. Regardless, they offered to escalate and investigate it further, so we'll see what happens.
