Oct 3, 2020 · If the ransom window says 300 then surely 300 is the "correct" amount and the 30 or so is "incorrect". The smaller figure will be the correct figure when the ransom window states that amount (incentive for devs to sort it ASAP. Oct 1, 2020 · Yes i'm totaly certain, i ransomed about 5 prisoners for 300 gold each, i didnt get near 1500 gold. It seems to have something to do with the perk "Golden Obligation", becaus before i took the perk the ransom amount was 100, and after 300. I dont know if i got all the money before the perk though. May 15, 2019 · In most cases you will still get some profit out of it, eg target ruler has 7 gold which is far less than the 25 gold he needs to ransom his wife - gift him say 30 gold (or whatever his minimum is), he then gives you 25 of it back and now has a +25 opinion of you (or whatever the relevant value is).
