Reassembly is a spaceship building game for PC with an emphasis on aesthetics and combat. Collect resources, expand and grow your fleet, and conquer your personal galaxy. Ships are assembled out of hundreds of individual blocks in a sophisticated spaceship editor. Reassembly was developed by Anisoptera Games.

In-game block fonts are used most prominently to write “Reassembly” on the title screen. Fonts. can be created or modified in in the sandbox with the “sfont” console command. Use the “write”. command to add text to the game. There can be several fonts – the default font is “def”.

Reassembly uses Google’s Droid Sans Fallback and Open Sans Emoji to provide additional characters for rendering usernames, and SDL_ttf or Cocoa/NSFont to actually render the text, depending on the platform. In an ironic twist of fate, the first version of this article was lost because wordpress choked on a U+E10D (rocket) character.

Select the “Sandbox” button from the Reassembly main menu. 3. Move the deploy location away from the “In the Beginning was the Command Line” by double clicking somewhere. Pan with WASD. 4. Use the “ minpalette [faction] ” command to load all blocks from your faction and place them in the sandbox at the deploy location.

A Kickstarter was launched on September 3rd to fund completion of the game, eventually raising 35K, significantly past the inital goal. Reassembly Alpha. An early build of Reassembly (then called Gamma Void) was released to a small group of alpha testers in February 2014.
