2004年11月30日 · Walmart Bike Assembly. My department at work raised a bunch of money for the annual Toys for Tots campaign. They decided to buy a bunch of bikes from Walmart and got a deal on 55 bikes (yes, fifty-five of them!). The bikes cost between $25 and $40 each with $40 for a 26" multispeed "Mountain Bike". They were all Quest branded bikes.

Vintage Schwinn. 01-21-20 01:18 AM. Acon, In 1968, Schwinn did not offer a 3 speed Schwinn Collegiate. The Collegiate was a 5 speed from 1964 until the very late seventies. The ladies Schwinn Breeze would have been available with the 3 speed that would have had the same essential look of a Collegiate....same tire size etc.

Judging by the posts about it on this site, this model's a notch above new walmart bikes (huffy, magna, schwinn, etc). Seller says its a 90s bike, though it looks identical to the one in the lower left corner of the 1984 catalog on sheldonbrown except for the flat handlebars.

2017年3月7日 · Those are pretty basic bikes, comparable to Canadian Tire Supercycle brand, and whatever the entry-level flavor of the day is at Walmart. You do not get much in terms of quality in a $300 department store bike. Lowest grade components, heavy frames.

He used to build the racing frames for the TI Raleigh Creda team, who did pretty well in the Tour de France in the late seventies. The 1980 edition was actually won on a Legrand bike.
