2007年11月15日 · I have a couple of suggestions. In that size kitchen, using the 4x8 sheets of beadboard is going to make it very difficult to end up with a good looking result. How would you get the end seams to look good. I STRONGLY recommend using individual planks and staggering the ends as you would on a wood plank floor.

2019年12月9日 · The plaster ceiling with wire mesh inside of it has been there since 1952, there is only a small crack running down the center of the large main room, it seems very solid and secure. I plan to use the thin beadboard 4x8 paneling, maybe cut into 4x4 sheets with 1x6 boards on all of the seams.

2009年10月5日 · I used 4x8 sheets of 1/4" white pegboard for the walls of my workshop - I think it looks fine, and is functional for storage. For a shed or workshop a lot of the walls get covered from view anyway. You can use 4x8 sheets of beadboard for the ceiling. _____

He has a screened in porch that he wants to “pretty up”, and what he wants done most and first is to put 3/8 beadbord paneling up for the ceiling. Sounds good. But it got me thinking: because this is the ceiling, and it’s outside, would it be better to nail or screw the panels to the rafters?
