2011年11月20日 · I've never heard of standoffs being used with coax, as there's no need for it. Just tie the cables to the tower, being careful to not make the ties too tight so as to deform the cable. Also, avoid sharp bends and include a drip loop below where it enters the building to keep the water outside.

2007年4月11日 · The solution is easy, Use a digital cable box for the cable and send its outputs to the TV on HDMI or component, and use the OTA antenna directly to the TV's tuner. Or, use a coax switch. But cable these days needs the digital box for the guide, interactive, ppv, HD. Lots of info in the OTA fourm. Good luck!!

I'd prefer to use galvanized fencing top rail (1 3/8") that I would attach to the vent pipe with double mast clamps, but I am concerned that a metal mast would degrade the reception. A wooden mast is possible but harder to secure to the vent pipe.
