This designates a ATSC 3.0 lighthouse: So for me Zapperbox is the winner hands down of the units I've tried as far as functionality. The UI and UX are excellent.

They are set-it-and-forget-it DVR's with a rich feature set. If you are one of those irrational TiVo haters, the best runner up is Channels DVR running on an nVidia Shield Pro with a 4-tuner HDHR Flex network tuner.

If your show is delayed 10 minutes because the baseball game on previously ran long, Tivo is usually smart enough to pick that up.
