This rivet is for the Hood Seal, Rocker moldings, inner fenders, rear fascia to splash shield. May also work in other places, parts manual is not 100% with plastic rivets. 1/4" (6.35mm) Hole Size

What I've found to do is let it soak (or put on cloth and apply) to soften the adhesive. It will roll off or peel off much more readily. PS your wheel barrels are painted and clear coated.
