Anyone else got any CarPlay Shortcut automations they use?
2020年2月5日 · I have a wireless CarPlay unit and wireless CarPlay uses WiFi for the data/screen connectivity to the CarPlay unit from the phone. It’s a point to point connection. So with wireless CarPlay you need to have the WiFi on. Of course if you are using a wired CarPlay connection you don’t need the WiFi.

2023年10月16日 · Apple CarPlay works great as you would expect… both wired and wireless. There is zero latency and it works as good or better than I've seen in OEM CarPlay examples from Volkswagen, Mazda, etc. I’ve always preferred wired though and I’ll keep trying both to find the best option for me. I like wired as it charges my phone and is 100% reliable.

Press and hold on the white shutter button and drag it to the right, you will now be recording a video with CarPlay audio in the background! Hope this helped!

Most CarPlay head-units will come with their own microphone which you will be expected to install somewhere in the headliner near your sun-visor.
