I have firestick 4K, chromecast with GTV HD and ONN 4K. All running much the same apps, same network. I was always a firestick fan until they started curbing my ability to sideload some 3rd party apps, and started offloading some apps.

2022年11月22日 · The specs seem very similar and I've read that whilst the remote for the Firestick is better, as it has Prime Video as a button and buttons for volume control, the Chromecast HD is newer, is more responsive and has USB C so I can plug in storage (e.g. family videos) and a keyboard and mouse if necessary through a dongle. 2023年11月26日 · Firestick is loaded with bloatware and actual usable storage is pretty low. Mine was full after 5 apps. Switched to google chromecast 4K and I’ll never look back. Even faster than the 4K Max with more usable storage and I can delete any bloatware. The firestick has the better remote, but the chromecast 4K is superior in every other aspect.

I don't want to mirror or use Airscreen because it's simply not the same quality. 2014年12月18日 · Chromecast can cast your phones screen to the TV to do the same thing that the FireStick does, you just go to the Chromecast app on your phone and cast screen. Im not sure if this is different that what you described, but I dont see the FireStick having anything that the Chromecast doesnt. Plus, the games that the Chromecast uses are fantastic.
