2021年5月15日 · Evidently this might be an unpopular opinion, but I think the animation went downhill significantly in season 7. The dialogue feels off too. The other seasons had a sort of grittiness to their animation that season 7 just doesn’t have. Almost a darkness? Don’t really know how to articulate it, I’m not well educated on these types of things.

Season 7 is about getting people in place, so Bad Batch is a prologue to Revenge of the Sith, while Ahsoka's arc is a prologue to Rebels now.

It had a rocky start in 2008, with the lackluster film, and the sub-par Season 1, (when compared to later seasons) The Clone Wars definitely didn't have the best fan reaction when first released.

I imagine if season 7 takes place in the gaps of Episode 3, it would be fun to watch it in the correct chronological order. For example the first few episodes of season 7, then the first 30 minutes of episode 3 and so on. So yeah.
