    Is benzaldehyde in kiwifruit a terpene?
    For example, benzaldehyde, a key flavor compounds in kiwifruit (Young and Paterson 1995 ), has a strong sharp sweet bitter almond aroma. Derived of terpenes, terpinen-4-ol has been identified as key volatile compound in bayberry and sweet marjoram (Cheng et al. 2015; Baranauskiene et al. 2010 ). Both compounds were found in CX.
