2006年5月9日 · In the new boat category when you're talking electronic diesels my preference is Cummins, especially the QSL line (where it is appropriate). They're INCREDIBLY social motors and very well-built. The basic block is a time-tested design as well. BTW, Bertram, Viking and Post are three VERY different boats.

I would check the gap with a set of feeler gauges on the input side of the turbo between the end of the fins and the housing on the both engines and compare.

I had 11.9 volts because of a corroded fuse which the ddec system didn't like. It will not allow the system to fire without full voltage. Your problem may be different but I went through.

2017年7月18日 · Ether is for a cold start aid only. Combustion in a diesel is controlled by injection timing. You do not get that control with ether when it is introduced to the cylinder with intake air. "Dry running" a diesel with ether will more than likely give early detonation which can cause broken rings, damaged pistons, rods, head gaskets and bolts.
