does CBD affect bearded dragons the same way it affects humans
Sep 21, 2024 · I have seen several people who have had a lot of positive effects on their dragons using CBD oil. It is safe & is slowly being used more on reptiles as well as other animals. I can dig up a link talking about reptile use & the dosage also. Tracie

Sep 5, 2014 · The goal is to have a diet balanced in calcium and phosphorus, 2:1. Dusting brings bugs up closer to 2:1 from dismal lows of like 0.14:1 in the case of crickets. "Staple" greens tend to be high in calcium - so the 3x per week dusting schedule probably works out fairly well for dragons who are good about eating greens.

Feb 17, 2016 · I feel adult dragons do not need much purines (animal proteins). In fact when I was breeding them I rarely gave my adult dragons any bugs. I covered protein needs with plant proteins. Alfalfa is about 18% protien and also reduces uric acid levels (which I recently discovered), it can reverse gout symptoms.

Nov 4, 2011 · We are building a custom viv, and are at the finishing stages. We used maple wood, which is a bit problematic because it tends to stain blotchy. To remedy this, we can apply a 1lb cut shellac first, then a gel stain (for smoother colour), and then a polyurethane topcoat. However, I am now reading that polyurethane may be toxic for dragons.

Oct 22, 2012 · Edit: Our dragons' previous owners had them since they were hatchlings didn't use D3 at all with their ReptiSuns, as far as I know, but they do have decent reflectors behind the ReptiSun tubes. The dragons are ages 2 and 4 years and perfectly fine so far. It was my idea to add a bit of D3 just in case.

Sep 29, 2009 · I have about 3 or 4 runts in my babies that I am not sure what to do about. I have them housed separately and offer them food separately but they just don't eat much. They are about 3 weeks old. Is their anything extra I can do to speed up the growing process? Or will they catch up eventually? Or will they always be small dragons?
