Looking to get a more accurate idea of what my IQ is. I’ve taken the pre-Mensa test and did well enough that it suggested I would be a good candidate to join.

It was even worse than that. IQ test results were even used to justify forced sterilisation of people who were seen to be feeble minded. But, it is no longer the 1900s. IQ tests actually help people. For example in sentencing or dealing with crime, people with low IQs can be assessed to be less culpable. That is a good use of IQ tests.

The most accurate atm, in my opinion, is the WAIS IV. It's a very long test (it takes multiple sessions), and measure different aspects of your IQ. It's not a 30 min matrix test. It has matrix, vocabulary, arithmetic, puzzles, compression, memory, and so on. So it's very complete.
