Posted. January 18, 2021. Early game the drill is pretty useful, especially with metal farming before getting an anky. They are also useful as others have said for reducing weight on you so you can move around lots of resources before getting tek legs.

So basically the mining drill was changed in patch 338.23 so that it can harvest underwater resources. But when I use the drill and jump in water to harvest it can't be equipped or used.

2021年6月30日 · Housatonic. To the best of my knowledge and minimal testing, no, melee damage does not affect yield. Which does make sense, in the same way that our own melee doesn't affect the damage of our guns. Charge capacity is an obvious QoL, but can easily be achieved with a couple of batteries in its inventory instead.

2024年8月24日 · Because I can't fathom that this thing would be capable of actually going out and mining rocks or trees with how brutal the AI and pathing is in this game. It'll probably work similar to dinos automatically gathering while on wander.
Doed or Anky for Element Ore/Gems/Crystal? - General - ARK
2018年1月10日 · Total Rating N/A. Posted January 10, 2018. As per the title, did a bit of testing with a 327% melee doed and a 357% melee anky on nearby green crystal. Results are as follows: Both got approximately the same amount of crystal. Anky got a bit more but that may be simply the bigger melee. Doed got lots of stone and green gems.

I remember my first time flying one I ran out of air and it fell from a building in the sanctuary and perished on impact (it was low level). (mining ramps, war builds etc) So I am going for some kind of storage.. I find behemoth gates too large to keep hidden, as I am playing on official pvp in a very small tribe.
