Miralax And Dulcolax Bowel Prep For Colonoscopy
Start the Miralax preparation between 2pm and 4pm. Pour out about 8 oz. of Gatorade or G2 to allow room for the Miralax. Mix the 8.3 oz. of Miralax (14 doses bottle) with the Gatorade in a large pitcher or bowl. Drink one 8 oz. glass of the solution every 15 minutes until the mixture is gone.
When to Drink Your Bowel Prep The day before your colonoscopy: In a pitcher mix the 8.3 ounces of MiraLAX® with the 64 ounces of Gatorade®. Stir/shake the contents until the entire contents of MiraLAX® are completely dissolved. Chill if desired. Do NOT add ice, sugar or any other flavorings to the solution. Morning Appointments (Before 12 noon)
Take 2 bisacodyl (Dulcolax) tablets. Make sure you’re at home and near an unoccupied bathroom. The bowel-preparation solution can work quickly and will cause multiple bowel movements. Mix 1/2 of the 8.3-ounce bottle of MiraLAX (7 capfuls) with one 32-ounce bottle of Gatorade.
