Nov 7, 2024 · I have a vertical Pit boss pellet smoker and all was going fine and I noticed a stall. Come to find out when I checked the rear pellet dump door that I had a large clump of pellets that had gotten wet/moisture. Emptied, cleared, and got it feeding pellets again, but trying to figure out how they got wet when I have a Pit Boss cover over the grill.

Oct 9, 2022 · I have a vertical Pitboss Pro Series pellet smoker. I just had to replace the ignitor, and during test things were going fine for about 5 minutes. Then the smoker tripped the GFCI it was plugged into. Subsequent power-ons now trip the GFCI within several seconds. What could be the problem? (The ignitor replacement went pretty smoothly.

Jan 9, 2022 · But man, it held steady all day at 225 and the ribs were great. Coming from a Traeger Pellet Grill; the steady temp is awesome. Pit Boss customer service was great and the new RTD just arrived so I am going to swap it out and see what happens. I actually found this Forum looking for instruction videos on swapping out the RTD.
