Trinitron was Sony's brand name for its line of aperture-grille-based CRTs used in television sets and computer monitors, one of the first television systems to enter the market since the 1950s. Constant improvement in the basic technology and attention to overall quality allowed Sony to charge a premium for Trinitron devices into the 1990s.

It means it's older. They started phasing that logo after 1990, which I think is around the age of that tube there. It's the same Trinitron tube technology, but they were transitioning to the all-black plastic case design and went with a new font for the Trinitron badge, sans the in-line RGB gun colors (which was Sony's breakthrough).

2006年1月4日 · Warm is supposed to be closest to D65, but I find that it's actually TOO warm often, and the correct setting is somewhere between neutral and warm. I've ended up at neutral before on regular sony's otherwise warm is too reddish, and if you don't fix the color decoding problems red can really get overblown.
