The original camera negative was scanned at 4K, restoration work was performed, and then it was downscaled to 1080p for the blu-ray release. It’s a standard blu-ray, not a 4K blu-ray, and is indeed Region B locked.

2020年12月4日 · You can find plenty of region free or region B players on eBay. Or if you have a friend in Europe they could buy one for you and ship it. But when buying note that the voltage is different, region B players are 240v while in the US the players operate on 120v so you'll need to buy an external voltage converter.

Mr Bongo has The Hourglass Sanatorium on blu ray, although there aren't any special features to speak of. Eureka has most of King Hu's best works. 88 Films has Come Drink With Me, in addition to heaps of other Shaw Brothers stuff.

2022年5月16日 · You can buy this player modded for about $100 extra. I purchased mine from Amazon about 18 months ago for £100 extra (I’m in the UK). It works great. Auto switches DVD region, but you have to select blu ray zone using the remote (it comes with instructions).

Now, I live in a region B country, so I assumed my ps5 would also be region B, however when it arrived at my house I saw it said region A on the box.
Any recommendations for a region free blu-ray drive for my pc?
2021年8月14日 · I use an external blu-ray player connected via USB 2.0 and rip discs with MakeMKV. Works great, depending on the condition of the disc. You should also be able to play the discs directly with VLC, though I've had trouble getting the AACS decryption to work properly.
