Did rice cereal really help your baby sleep better?
2016年6月22日 · She sleeps 7:30 pm until 8-9 am without a peep. She's never had cereal either. My experience is that every baby is different and some are just inherently better sleepers than others regardless of what you do. I personally dont think cereal helps since I had good sleepers with and without cereal.

2016年6月11日 · Pediatrician gave the go for the added cereal. You can just poke a safety pin in the nipples you have to slightly widen the whole at first. This way you can make sure cereal agrees with LO (all babies don't like it or have trouble with it) and don't have to spend the money until you know baby does like it.

Jul 29, 2020 at 6:08 PM. My pediatrician told me to absolutely not add rice cereal to bottles. The AAP also advises against it. Enfamil, Similac, and Up and Up (Target brand) all have a spit up formula with added rice starch. I've tried them all and they work for my guy in reducing spit up.

I started doing it once a day and I saw a change. I haven't tried the rice, I used oatmeal because she (pedi) said rice constipates.

Their digestive tract is not developed enough to handle it. Previous generations, our mothers & grandmothers, have rice cereal, but we know now not to give solids before 4 months at the earliest.

At 6 months I introduced all sorts of fruit and veggie purées and oatmeal cereal (which she didn’t like).
