Good short stories to read to people with alzheimer?
2020年2月25日 · I’m Head if Well Being at a residential and Dementia Care Home. I read one story to my residents on each floor total of 3 floors with varying degrees of dementia I am totally amazed the effect it had, total engagement throughout and recognition to their own lives. Will highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read the other stories.

She has lost all interest in reading books but does like to look at the pictures in magazines. Does anyone know of a weekly pictorial magazine that we could get for her? We also wondered about any children's books that might fit the bill.

2024年1月17日 · Dementia Assessment In August 2023, I took my mother to her GP for a Dementia Assessment During the assessment Do Not Resuscitate order (“DNRO”) was raised by the GP. I stated that my mother that she does not want a “DNRO” on religious grounds. She takes the view it is better to try to resuscitate than not to. Which is her basic right.
