"+" is more gas for shooting unsuppressed since more gas is needed to cycle the bolt. Push "down" on "-" side for suppressed shooting. Push "down" on "+" side for unsuppressed shooting.

7262 posts · Joined 2014. #5 · Jun 29, 2020 (Edited) Yeah, these handles have a slicker, more solid feeling slide. Doesn't eliminate wear, but with good lube will serve you well for a very long time. Geissele has a little more substantial gas control dam, but gas blowback really isn't a problem with either. Here's MCX on left beside MPX. Cheers.

I opted not to try and experiment with their standard AR15 SSA/SSA-E/SSA-E X as tempting as it might be based on price and lighter weight. I followed all of their instructions including the orientation of the pins and lubed using EWL30.
