Most name brand ant bait stations will work for other types of ants except for fire ants. What I found that works best for fire ants is Amdro Mound Treatment. It's a plastic jug with a pour spout.

2015年4月22日 · I wiped them out with Terro as well when they showed up in the kitchen. They never came back. I had them recently outside around my outside trash cans. I put out about a dozen homemade bait stations (piece of cardboard with a drop of Terro) around the trash cans and the ants swarmed all of them and are now all gone.

I finally figured out that they were coming in from a small hole by our front outside entryway, which is adjacent to our kitchen.

2019年6月21日 · Sugar ants. To stop them, remove sources of food they can get to on counters, and even dirty dishes. Follow them to where they are going. They're finding food in there somewhere. Get rid of it/close it up. No fruit or food on counter tops. Use a poison that is not bait, in the window where they are coming in.

I know it sounds crazy but after I placed sticks of gum everywhere the little pests have not been back. I have a mint plant growing on my windowsill in the kitchen nowadays and still no ants or mites.

Bleach your countertops, stove, and sink area each time you use the kitchen. Use a beach solution in a spray bottle and not straight bleach. Don’t leave any crumbs, grease, sugar, etc behind. You can easily kill them and their bodies tear apart into small pieces easily when squished unlike fire ants. How do you kill them? I had purchased some RAID ant bait a couple of days ago and that didn't work. I was able to trace where they are coming from.
