2016年2月29日 · A DIY can stove is fine, as long as the food container is held about 3/4 in above the flame. I made this 'can stove' in just a few minutes and used coat hanger wires to make a support that holds the container at the correct height. With a larger pot, just move the can of Sterno to the top of the supports (Lower hole set).

2014年6月12日 · Hot water will migrate up, but..... I think the outlet would need to be under the surface also. I have a hot water heating system, but water is kept circulating via a small pump. Pressure is kept in system by pressure gauge (2-3 lbs) and compression bladder. I have to bleed air from top of radiators every couple years.

2016年11月20日 · I would go with double wall for sure. Keeping the stack temp above 300 is paramount in keeping creosote down (as the smoke will condensate at temps under 300). Use a good thermometer on the stove pipe and run it accordingly. We typically run ours around 450-550 measured 20" above the stove surface using a probe style thermometer.
