2013年3月13日 · To level match the speakers with respect to each other, IE left and right arent too loud, rear and front arent to loud, center and left sound the same, use the built in test tones on the receiver. To do subwoofer crossover and speakers, its tricky and i havent gotten that down yet, but I run frequency sweeps between speaker and subwoofer.

I have a Roku Ultra connected via HDMI to the receiver. On every YouTube test 5.1 I only get stereo audio. I've tried the Netflix Test Pattern episode mentioned here and it doesn't appear to be surround sound to me, but it is hard to tell if it even should be as all I've heard in that Netflix test is a synth voice counting out of all speakers.

2018年2月20日 · No I get what your talking about from the explanation, however that isn't how surround sound system are setup or configured, which is why I said it was an interesting concept/topic. The purpose for the software would be to help setup a surround system before listening to content with surround sound, to make sure the system plays sounds correctly.

2022年1月26日 · Once you have the option to set your 5.1 sound card to "surround/ 5 point stereo" then the flag: --try-supported-channel-layouts , should normally work. By default "Microsoft Edge" is in front left/ front right probably due to an exclusive mode for sound in Windows.

Or it could just be what you're used to.
