2023年8月17日 · So I'm really trying hard to find Weapons that have the Thrown status effect that are good for throwing but don't naturally return to you on their own. Nyrulna seems cool too, but it'd be a shame if that's the best/only viable throwing weapon option for lategame given that it auto-returns already. Give the EKs some love!

2021年5月16日 · RAW thrown weapons are not melee weapons while being thrown, so your GM's suspicions are well-grounded. That said, I agree with your feeling that thrown weapons are undertuned, especially for people that don't want to use returning runes. Doubling Rings were a perfect opportunity to facilitate that so it was so disappointing to find out they don't.

The returning weapons are also the one that deal the highest damage for throwing weapons. You want the thrown tag to deal the full weapon damage and you want the weapon to weigh above 1 as 1-10 is a weight bracket where you'll deal the most bludgeoning damage when throwing from height (there are no thrown weapons with weight above 10).

2023年8月4日 · Throwing a bow at someone = ranged melee weapon attack. Throwing a spear = ranged melee weapon attack. Also sharpshooter feat differs from the one in dnd 5e (the one in 5e has 3 puncts that first 2 will apply to thrown weapons, thrown weapon attacks won't benefit whatsoever from the feat in bg3, nor should from archery)

Couldn't agree more, as soon as 2.0 dropped I replaced my ninja net runner to be solely focused on throwing weapons. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is where to get weapon mods. I've been searching for one I found already slotted that increased range by 10% and removed the "bullet drop", for lack of a better phrase.

2023年11月26日 · GWF does not, but Dueling does (or can). You need the effect to trigger when your thrown weapon is NOT in your hand for it to take effect; eg. if you are dual-wielding and throw one, Dueling becomes active because when the thrown weapon hits, you only have one weapon equiped.
