The letter from Optimum states that PowerKey CableCARDs will no longer work - it does not mention anything about which manufacturers of PowerKey CableCARDs will or won't be affected - it just happens to show a Scientific Atlanta one in the picture.

2023年3月7日 · TiVo requires a cable card to work with cable, period. Spectrum has made NO announcement of discontinuing cable card support. In fact, the high split converter is specifically to MAINTAIN cc support and replaces the tuning adapter. If HSC isn’t supported in your area, then it’s not needed. Your area isn’t impacted by the high split changes.

If your Roamio has 6 tuners (Plus or Pro models), it cannot do OTA. There are no Edge models that can do cable and OTA so if you are using this Edge with cable currently, it cannot do OTA.

So, depending on ZIP codes, if you have a TIVO Roamio, the "card" plugged into the back of your Roamio will no longer work. Found that out today when my TIVO no longer receives channels.

2020年7月30日 · Thanks! Just about any TiVo from Premiere and newer (Roamio, Bolt, Edge) will work mostly fine with Cox. The "mostly fine" really depends on which hardware Cox uses in that area. If it is Cisco equipment then "mostly fine" is about the best you will get if they use Motorola equipment it should work much better.

Spectrum should facilitate this, per their policies, but good luck finding a Spectrum rep who’s willing and knowledgable.
