All of the Tools and Weapons from Tinkers' Construct can be modified. Once an item is complete, you can use the Tool Station to add extra abilities to it. Different materials/items have different amounts of modifiers. Additionally, different materials will affect the appearance of the tool/weapon in the order that you add them.

You need 80 durability for a leadstone capacitor, 400 for a hardened, 2,000 for a redstone, and 10,000 for a resonant. Incidentally, at the moment this is the recharge rate for a capacitor.

2017年5月3日 · Tinkers' got its balance fixed in 1.8+, which included removing the Flux modifier. There are a few ways to mitigate the impact of this - be it through Mending Moss, making parts of your tool out of wood (slow repair) or just making it out of an easy-to-gather material for repairs.

2015年5月30日 · I would still like to add Flux Capacitors, so I've set the 'Balanced Flux Modifier' to false. Even though, I still cannot add any Flux Capacitors. To test this, I've added a Diamond to add durability and then a Hardened Flux Capacitor; this did work.
