Discussion. I’ve been wanting to buy a PlayStation console for a looooong time now, but they are so expensive and I can’t afford one. I know the ps4 would run extremely slow but I love video games and can only play on my phone. I found a refurbished ps4 for about $200 at GameStop, but I’m worried I’ll get scammed or something.

Aug 13, 2021 · Buying a PS4 Pro for $550 at this point, that is not even brand new, is just plain stupid. That's more expensive than a brand new disk-based PS5. Moreover, Gamestop should be the last place you ever consider buying a used console. Used consoles sold at Gamestop are mostly preoned systems traded in by customers.

Jun 14, 2015 · Never buy refurbished. Second hand is generally fine but refurbished means there was something wrong with it to begin with and they "fixed" it. Typically refurbished is better actually. If you think about refurbished means it got qc'd twice and theoretically anything that should have broke has been repaired.

Jan 11, 2021 · I used to work at gamestop and thats literally ALL they do to test a console. You literally see the extent of the "Testing" right in front of you before you trade the console in. The console Warranty is also true, if you get a bad one, you can easily just swap it out for another one until u get one thats good.
