Most times its under inflation or under rated for the load. If their at the correct PSI, then I would have the boat and trailer weighted. Some times the weight creeps up on you.

Trailer tires have a shorter shelf life than normal automobile tires. I would not accept 21/2 year old trailer tires. Return them.

网页2010年4月17日 — Did you try WalMart? They sell all kinds of trailer tires and wheels. When I bought my rig it had radials. I went to trailer tires, and it had noticeably less bounce and sway. Also, I have heard of people having issues with lawsuits and insurance claims when having an accident with the "wrong kind" of tires on the trailer.

West Marine wants $70 plus for a galvanized tire and rim combo. Based on iboat Marine Store prices, it looks like the tire alone would run me $40-$45.

I'd been running Carlisle tires for over 15 years with good results, so not real happy with them now.

I had cracked sidewalls on my Chaparral tires (an off-brand tire), the off-brand tires don't last as long. I had a blowout and replaced all four with Goodyear Marathon trailer tires, $85 bucks each but worth the extra money.

The lug pattern is 5 on 4 1/2 The wheels are mismatched and as old as the trailer. One of the tires was also as old as the trailer.

Go to an autoparts store and pick up a new coupler...or get one at a local trailer dealership, supply house... Around here, they can be gotten at autoparts stores, trailer dealers, Argi-Supply, Tractor Supply, Northern Tool, etc.
